Phil Balayan

Phil the entrepreneur, skateboarder  &  photographer killer, is  the man behind the scene, as we call him our tester Guru and Quality Assurance Master. With his expertise in marketing and technology development , like Sherlock Holmes he tracks every bugs with his hunting dog and makes sure everything runs smoothly. On top of that he is also our Project Manager.

Calin Batori

calin

Calin disassembles everything he touches, from his mom ‘s computer when he was 7, to his motorbike at 17, now he breaks into pieces your sentences in order to implement linguistics and cognitive science models of the language faculty. His role at keenkong is to make sure that the platform users & our logic engine speak the same language.

Olivier Berger

As one of our Founding Father, Olivier, gave birth to keenkong after 10 years of gestation in strategic marketing and business development. He has the essence of a French super-hero: he never sleeps, he can jog , write emails & smoke all at the same time … As a super-hero ;  he is also the one who can make designers and developers work happily together, in short he is our C.E.O. Follow him @olivierberger

Lolo Cohen

Lolo also known as Madame Lolo runs on iced Americano, French cigarettes and New York streets. She comes from the Entertainment and Premium Content industry, and has never touched or even got near a PC nor used Windows in her 36 years in the geekland world. Needless to say as a Mac junkie she is our Marketing & Partnership Director Capo. Follow her @madamelolo

Alain Gaeremynck

Alain, besides being a triple C addict (Coffee, Cognac & Calvados), is THE guy that writes test driven developed code that works. With an expertise in application architecture using domain driven design, he is the man who, when he does not annoy Rob for fun, designs and codes the core of the keenkong app, he is our Core Alpha Geek. Follow him @sanssucre

Fred Guarino

Fred has attended every single Star Trek convention possible, he is also a major Battlestar Galactica fan, you’ve guessed it, he is a super Nerd. With a Sciences-Po diploma, 10 years experience in the digital and mobile industry, and of course a laser saber he is our Chief Marketing Officer, a real do-er … Follow him @fredericg

Pat de Lanauze

pat001

On Mondays, Pat wears a hat  for the headache, on Tuesdays he complains about Montréal winters, on Wednesday it is Foufoune Electric day (go figure!), on Thursdays he buys a new phone, on Fridays he looks for an empty swimming pool to train to become the next Tony Hawks (not Michael Phelps), on Saturdays he tries to see his girlfriend , and on Sundays he checks his Facebook’s wall, and we know all those details because he works and lives keenkong 24/7  as our NLP Alpha geek.

Anna Maria Di Sciullo

AnnaMaria

Anna Maria is an accomplished multi-tasker lady ; asides from being a Professor of Linguistics & Director  Natural Language Processing at UQAM University (Montréal), she also has already published several books  through MIT Press and on top of all that,  she is keenkong’s R&D guru. Her secret to do it all ? caffeine of course, but not your regular nescafe… Anna Maria’s coffee will make you travel to Piazza San Marco, as she always gets her “espresso ristretto”.

Rob Skoczylas

rob001

Rob, is our other co-founder (the nicer one) & super-hero also know as Robocop :  a man that never sleeps, drinks Single Malt Scotch, drives fast (but not when he drinks), while hacking at night. With many years programming and building architecture solutions, Rob of course hates technology (whatever…) and Alain sometimes ; in short he is keenkong’s C.T.O.

Stanca Somesfalean

stanka

Ladies & Gentlemen, please meet Mademoiselle Stanca, the Lady of the Linguistic Team. Her love of languages and their similar internal structure lead to a linguistics training that is only overshadowed by her love of chocolate. So, when she doesn’t bake chocolate delicacies, she mixes syntactic structure and semantic classification with a hint of psycholinguistics in order to develop the master recipe for the keenkong logic engine. Yummmy.
